Waterproofing and protection in Gołębiewski Hotel aquapark, Poland.

Our products were chosen to complete the waterproofing and protection of some parts of Gołębiewski Hotel aquapark which is located in the Baltic Sea region of Pobierowo. The hotel can be described as a unique complex that includes 16 conference rooms, two cinemas, SPA, sports fields, a year-round ice rink, a climbing wall, and of course an aquapark with slides, saunas, so-called wild river with artificial wave, swimming pools and jacuzzi both indoors and outdoors.

Project Requirements

The project had specific requirements for the waterproofing and protection of the so-called wild river in the aqua park. Due to the fact that the ‘’river’’ infrastructure would accommodate heavy usage and it would contain large amounts of chlorine treated water, a durable and strong solution was required that would prevent water ingression, dealing with the mechanical forces and the resistance to temperature changes and acidity. ALCHIMICA’s tested sealing and waterproofing solutions were used and thanks to its global experience, it was able to provide any assistance in every phase of the project.

Taking into consideration the strength and the mechanical and chemical resistance properties that needed for, our HYPERDESMO®-2K-W was selected and applied on surfaces as it produces a strong yet flexible impermeable membrane that has excellent resistance to acidic and basic environments. The build-up system included also the AQUASMART-DUR primer and the HYPERSEAL polyurethane sealants for joint protection and waterproofing.

In addition, HYPERDESMO®-PB-2K which is designed and fully tested for structural waterproofing applications was used to waterproof the pots. It was selected to provide long – term durability of the structures with a guaranteed water tightness protection to prevent water ingress and the deterioration of concrete.

Waterproofing and protection of swimming pools in ”RMZ GALLERIA MALL & RESIDENCES”, Bangalore. India

One of the most recognized projects that ALCHIMICA was part of, is the commercial and residential building complex which is located near Bangalore international airport in Yelanka @ Bangalore.
The complex covers a significant land area with green living spaces and was designed to be one of the most environmentally conscious projects. Its architecture is contemporary and was developed to meet and satisfy all client’s needs including various recreational and social facilities.
It includes 322 units in the four main sections and 32 Individual Villas: Pool Residence, Arena Residence and Golf Residence that makes it to be one of the most beautiful residential near with commercial mall projects in Yelanka.

In the Pool residence, there is a huge 2 long swimming pool in the galleria mall, there are fountains and a decorative swimming pools and also beautiful swimming pools in each villas.

Waterproofing and protection of towing tank in ”IIT MADRAS”, Chennai. India.

One of the most recognized projects that ALCHIMICA was part of, is the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, in Chennai. The IIT is one of the best institutes for higher education in India.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is known both nationally and internationally for excellence in technical education, basic and applied research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial consultancy. In 1956, the German Government offered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement was signed in 1959 in Bonn West Germany, for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras.

IIT Madras has been the top-ranked engineering institute in India for four consecutive years as well as accredited as the ‘Best Educational Institution’ in Overall Category in the NIRF Rankings of 2019 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
For the implementation of specific engineering tests, a towing tank has been constructed in a separate building of 90m length, 10m width and 5m height. The towing tank is well ventilated and is equipped with very effective lighting system. For the successful construction of the project a durable waterproofing solution was required.

HYPERDESMO®-2K-W is a two-component, solvent-free, thixotropic coating, based on high quality elastomeric polyurethane resins. After polymerization it produces a strong, elastic, hydrophobic membrane suitable for waterproofing and protection. It is recommended for flashing protection and tank waterproofing. It has been certified for use in potable water tanks.

One of the most recognized projects that ALCHIMICA was part of, is the commercial and residential building complex ‘’My World Europe’’ which is located in Basaksehir district in Istanbul.

The complex covers a significant land area with green living spaces and was designed to be one of the most environmentally conscious projects. Its architecture is contemporary and was developed to meet and satisfy all client’s needs including various recreational and social facilities.

It includes 3080 residences and 20 twin villas in the three main sections: Pool Residence, Arena Residence and Golf Residence that makes it to be one of the largest residential projects in Istanbul.

In the Pool residence, there is a huge 130 long swimming pool while in the Arena Residence there are fountains and a decorative swimming pools.
