Podium Wateproofing at Boulevard Heights. Dekwaneh, Lebanon

HYPERDESMO^®-PB-2K was chosen to waterproof the podium in Boulevard Heights , thanks to its CE mark certification for 25 years expected working life and its mechanical and chemical features, it is ideal for podium waterproofing.

The waterproofing of the podium area was completed with the waterborne epoxy primer AQUADUR , with its track record of more than 20 years of successful use as primer for the HYPERDESMO^® line of products and the self-leveling polyurethane with bitumen material HYPERDESMO PB-2k.

HYPERDESMO® system, Durable residential solutions. Pinéa residences project, Lebanon.

ALCHIMICA’s solutions for waterproofing and protection were used in Pinéa residences, located in the hills of Ballouneh in Mount Lebanon, near Beirut. Standing atop the hills of Ballouneh, Pinéa is a gated community stretching over 17.000 sqm, offering 232 simplexes and duplexes, built around a central common garden that brings the residents together in a community-like atmosphere.

HYPERDESMO® polyurethane liquid membranes with their durability, flexibility, breathability and resistant properties, were implemented in different and complex application areas successfully, providing the necessary guarantee regarding the protection of substrates and further ensuring the safe completion of the project.

Underground car park in Lebanon with HYPERDESMO®-D-2K

In this project, AQUASMART®-DUR the revolutionary two-component, water based, epoxy primer was applied, creating a slight film sealing the concrete and enhancing adhesion for the main coat. Then our HYPERSEAL®-EXPERT-150, the low modulus expansion joint sealant was applied, for detail sealing and carving of dilatation joints. HYPERDESMO®-D-2K was used as the main coat – a two-component, solvent-free polyurethane fluid, producing a strong hydrophobic membrane of moderate elasticity with outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance properties. At the end, AQUASMART® –TC 2K POOL PROTECT (pigmented at the desired colour) was used for the traffic line marking, creating a decorative flooring finish.

The result is a tough slip-resistance floor designed to resist high mechanical stresses and vibration forces.

CMC seminars in Beirut, South Lebanon and Sulaymaniah

CMC company, ALCHIMICA official distributor in Lebanon and Irak, held technical training seminars in two different locations in South Lebanon on March 18th and April 22nd, in Beirut on May 20th, and at Sulaymaniah in Iraqi Kurdistan on May 25th.

The seminars in Lebanon were attended by consultants, architects, contractors, engineers and other clients. More than 50 people attended each Seminar.

The main annual training in Beirut was attended by 120 people and has covered many technical aspects as well as products’ live demonstration.

In Sulaymaniah, the seminar was hosted by the Sulaymaniah University under the frame of a building materials conference.
